Every company says it’s different, but we really are

First Actuarial has enjoyed continual growth over two decades, giving everyone the chance to develop. We nurture a positive culture of encouragement and opportunity, which brings out the best in all our employees.

As a company, we’ve always had a strong character that is all our own. We speak up for what we believe is right, and we often take unconventional positions that go against industry thinking if we think it’s in our clients’ best interests to do so.

It’s that character and self-belief that gives our working culture a distinctive flavour. We listen to others’ views, but we’re unafraid to challenge each other. And we’re prepared to make difficult decisions if that’s the right thing for our clients.

We have hybrid working in place for colleagues who prefer home-working for part of the week. We’re also flexible on working arrangements and will happily accommodate a range of personal commitments from day one.

We take pride in our client-first approach, with high-quality services. With no targets for billable hours, everyone is free to do the best possible job. In our latest client survey, 100% of respondents said they were happy to recommend us to others.
