IT and Software play a very important role in today’s workplace. At First Actuarial
we recognise this and continue to invest to ensure that we have a modern IT structure throughout
our organisation. Furthermore, we have a dedicated team of software developers that make
full use of this to develop market leading products and bespoke solutions.
All of our consultants make use of our innovative tools such as Valuation Viewer
that can bring a discussion on actuarial assumptions to life. Externally,
our in house actuarial Excel addin is used by
the Pensions Regulator and we have produced online modellers for the
NHS Pension Scheme.

In addition to the above we have worked with third party administrators to help
with data cleansing and produced many bespoke models ranging from a Salary Sacrifice
model (for a leading FTSE100 financial services provider) to tools to help with
modelling Share Schemes for the purposes
of IFRS2, FRS20 and FAS123 (for small unlisted companies and large NASDAQ listed
multinationals).
